WHITE PEONY
Vietnamese Pai Mu Tan Vietnamese Pai Mu Tan is a white tea inspired by the famous Chinese Bai Mu Dan. It is made in the spring in the high mountains of Vietnam, using the buds and young leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Low in calories and rich in antioxidants, it offers a delicate, floral, and slightly fruity infusion.
ORIGIN
Pai Mu Tan (or Bai Mu Dan, "white peony") is traditionally Chinese, but Vietnam also produces remarkable versions in its mountainous regions. The terroirs of northern Vietnam (provinces such as Ha Giang and Son La) offer conditions similar to those of Fujian, China: high altitude, mists, and rich soils. The harvest is very selective: a terminal bud and two young leaves are picked in the spring, guaranteeing finesse and freshness.
BENEFITS
Powerful antioxidants (catechins, polyphenols): slow down cellular aging. Low caffeine content: ideal for evening enjoyment. Hydrating and detoxifying: a light and refreshing beverage. Cardiovascular support: helps regulate blood pressure and cholesterol. Immune system: strengthens natural defenses thanks to flavonoids.
SENSORY PROFILE
Aromas: a slightly herbaceous touch, subtly fruity flavors, a hint of honey, a long, delicate, and smooth finish.
